On Wednesday, Chaya Raichik (Libs of TikTok), Jack Posobiec, Kirk Cameron, and Sean Spicer held a reactionary story hour event at the Cleveland Park Library in DC. I, of course, went to it, and you can read my write up on it at The Daily Dot.
I thought it might be fun to share some of the media from this event.
First up: the Sean Spicer audio referenced in the Daily Dot piece.
“But they’re good people, aren’t they?…So maybe we shouldn’t try to rush to judgment because sometimes that doesn’t make them feel good..People sometimes, if they’re good people and they mean well, then let’s not jump to conclusions. Let’s help them, and maybe not do things that are going to make them feel bad or potentially hurt themselves,” Sean Spicer told the kids.
So…is that about his children’s book, or is it about himself? Who can say!
Next: the charismatic and charming Chaya Raichik, I posted a different clip on Twitter, so if you follow me there, you might already have some idea of how her reading went. But here is the grand finale of her performance:
Kirk Cameron is really, really into this National Monument to the Forefathers statue. It’s very weird to me!!
This is the size of the crowd (the kids are sitting on the ground):
And finally, since Posobiec apparently tweeted there was a ton of security and that his followers needed to pray for his safety, here are the cop cars out front:
Somehow, everyone managed to stay safe.
